courage

Courage

The courage of the heart is greater than the power of the mind. To take the 1st step of faith and say, “ here goes nothing..” is like out of desperation one turns to a last resort with nothing to lose.

To have a little courage requires practice. The courage to approach your 1st date is quite belittling too. It is a dare to act without much thought based on intuition at the moment. In the here and now, in full awareness of the current situation and present moment one watchfully act in courage based on the heart and inner gut-feeling to do what is natural at that particular moment.

It seems that things are being done to us. We are mere instruments of life and existence when courage is concerned. A mother cares not for her well-being and dashes out to save her kid in midst heavy traffic upon discovering her child has trodded off towards the middle of the street. A mother can perform uncanny feats of strength and superhuman acts if her child is at danger of sorts. Courage does that. Courage becomes her. She becomes courage.

When you are one with courage you know no fear, you know no doubts. You act and become courage or trust or faith. Feel the fear, acknowledge it and do it anyway. For the 1st step will reinforce the 2nd and so on.

To be completely in the zone. To be completely in the here and now to witness yourself performing what has to be done at the moment. You know what must be done and notice it doing you instead. That is the uncanny force of true courage.
